Six Years after Adopting Higher Standards, States are Getting More Honest, and Seeing Improved Student Achievement

The Collaborative for Student Success analyzed the results of 34 states’ 2015-16 annual academic assessments (the other 16 will release their results later this year). Among states that have adopted higher standards, the vast majority realized proficiency rate improvements.
